We recognise that for most students (and parents!) a move to University can be an unnerving experience. Qualification & Affiliation

We work only with members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), now known as Propertymark and part of the Property Redress Scheme (PRS). This means that our agents adhere to very strict guidelines and operate in a way that is recognised throughout our industry as fair, transparent and most importantly – complies with regulation. We also only work with agents that have Client Money Protection (CMP), which means that your money is in safe hands. Yes, there are some rouge Letting Agents and Landlords out there – but you can be assured we’re not one of them!

Properties

All of our properties have been renovated in the last few years. All have new boilers that are gas checked by an engineer, every year. We manage all of our properties, too – so you’ll always deal with us if there’s a problem.

Tenancy Agreements

We use joint and several tenancy agreements, which means that all of the tenants are responsible for all of the rent. But, as a guarantor – you’re only responsible for your son or daughter. We have draft versions of all documentation that can be downloaded from this website.

Rent Payments

Rent is usually paid monthly, but we can make other arrangements if necessary. Unless the students have explicitly agreed to use our bills package, the rent will exclude all utilities (apart from the broadband, which is included). Full time students are exempt from Council Tax.
